MonoWorX is a full-service grounds maintenance company serving the greater Pittsburgh area.  From weekly mowing and landscape maintenance to drainage, excavation, and landscape installs, we have the tools and the experience to make your dream space a reality. We offer a variety of services including grading, commercial snow removal, and new for the 2023 season - hydroseeding. We also manage commercial properties and large residential communities with year-round maintenance and services.

 

MonoWorX began with a sixteen-year-old boy and a small pickup truck.  Founder Matt Montagazzi had limited tools, but a lot of passion for aiming to serve customers with his self-owned lawn mowing company, Mono's Lawn Service. With his dad’s homemade trailer, Matt ran the business throughout college and continued it alongside his career as a K9 police officer. 

 

In 2019, an opportunity to grow the business presented itself, and Matt left his career in law enforcement to focus on growing the business further. MonoWorX was founded, and the business grew from managing 25 accounts, to serving over 1,000 residences in Western Pennsylvania.
